Write Designer

Designers time after time have rewritten what’s possible. But while the impact of design can be seen across every industry, designers themselves often go uncounted.

For the first time, Australia’s design industry will be recognised by the Australian Bureau of Statistics in the 2026 national census.

So, we launched the Write Designer campaign to call on more than 242 design professionals to demonstrate the power designers have to shape every part of Australia’s culture, industries, and future.
